The Albins STX Edition is an inline 6-speed sequential gearbox built to handle  the extreme demands of off-road racing. Based on the revolutionary Albins ST6, STX gearboxes feature six extra-wide, close-ratio 28mm forward gears. An extra-long torsional input shaft helps reduce shock loads. Albins STX gearboxes are available with a torque converter only, or with a clutch plus converter kit.

4WD/AWD capable. The Albins STX Off-Road Edition can be configured with a transfer case and the Albins wet clutch assembly for the front output for an AWD capable transmission. Add in the Albins AFD-100 front differential and the drivetrain package is ready for AWD.

Like the Albins ST6 gearboxes, heavy duty Albins STX Editions feature drop gears for quick ratio changes. All gears are profile ground after heat treatment, shot peened and isotropic finished for longer life. Built-in inspection ports allow visual check of gear and dog wear.
